Finsbury Park Little Free Library

Prah Road, Finsbury Park, Islington, London

The Finsbury Park Little Free Library was installed on 24 July and is the first LFL in the London Borough of Islington.

The artistic design was added by local illustrator Teresa Robertson and includes depictions of former residents Johnny Rotten and Samuel Plimsoll in conversation on one side, children playing and reading on another, and a reference to the book Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby on another side.

Local residents attended the launch including several authors who donated copies of their books to the community’s newest book sharing venue (Marianne Levy pictured left donating one of her Ellie May books).
